Stylist Competition sponsored by Goodwill Industries of Alberta
Western Canada Fashion Week created the Stylist Competition to provide a showcase for aspiring fashion stylists.
Participants have a set budget and are required to rework lightly used clothing to create a unique personal style. Each participant will style one outfit to be judged by industry professionals. The winning design will be judged on resourcefulness, creativity, and forecasting trends.
The first place winner will receive:
- A $750.00 in-store credit from Goodwill Industries of Alberta to go towards styling a ten piece collection the following season.
- WCFW runway showcase to present their collection the following season
- Models
- Makeup and hair artists
- A disk of your show provided by a professional photographer
- Technical support team to facilitate your show.
Second and third place winners will receive amazing prizes from Jane Iredale and Davines
